About the worst of freecycle

I've started this blog because although I love freecycle there are so many scroungers and beggars on it asking for the moon on a stick that it drives me mad.

Of course we all love something for nothing, and that is part of the appeal of freecycle but there are people out there who are so cheeky in their requests that it almost ruins the ethos of the group and should be stamped out.

I like groups which restrict wants to one a month and then only small asks, nothing too specific. This cuts down on the problem of people wanting their entire house furnished for free.

It also worries me some of the asks are clearly people who are running a business or planning to make a profit by reselling items.
